I was drowning in cables on my desk — six USB-C, two display cables, power bricks, an ethernet run. Nothing on the market fit the exact edge profile of my desk or allowed me to route cables in the direction I needed. So I designed my own.
The system has four parts: an edge clip that grips desks 18–32mm thick, a spine rail that the clips attach to, a cable saddle in three sizes (for thin cables, medium bundles, and power bricks), and end caps. Everything is push-fit — no tools, no screws, no adhesive. It disassembles in seconds when you need to rewire.
Print in PETG for flexibility and desk edge protection — PLA works but is brittle on the clips. 40% infill on the clips, 20% on everything else. The STEP file is there if you need to adjust the clip width for thicker desktop surfaces.
